What is ReleaseMyApp?
ReleaseMyApp is a pre-submission validation tool for iOS and Android apps. Upload your .ipa, .apk, or .aab file and get an instant report with 45+ automated checks that catch the issues that get 40% of apps rejected.
What file formats are supported?
We support iOS app bundles (.ipa) and Android packages (.apk and .aab). Simply drag and drop your file or click to upload.
Is my app binary safe?
Yes. Your binary is processed in memory during analysis and automatically deleted after the scan completes. We do not store, share, or retain copies of your app files. All connections use HTTPS encryption.
What does the scan check?
Our scan runs 45+ checks across categories including: metadata validation, privacy manifest compliance, permission descriptions, SDK level requirements, binary architecture, entitlements, security flags, placeholder content detection, and more.
Does passing all checks guarantee my app will be approved?
No. ReleaseMyApp catches the most common technical and compliance issues, but Apple and Google reviewers also evaluate subjective criteria like design quality, minimum functionality, and content policies. Think of our scan as a safety net that catches the preventable rejections.
How much does it cost?
Your first scan is free with no signup required. After that, you can purchase individual Pro scans or subscribe for unlimited scans. Check the pricing section on our homepage for current pricing.
Do I need to create an account?
No account is needed for your first free scan. Creating an account lets you save scan history, access Pro features, and manage your subscription.
What is the privacy manifest check?
Since May 2024, Apple requires apps to include a PrivacyInfo.xcprivacy file declaring which Required Reasons APIs are used. Our scan checks whether your app includes this manifest and whether the declarations match the APIs detected in your binary.
Can I scan apps built with React Native, Flutter, or other frameworks?
Yes. We analyze the compiled binary output (.ipa or .apk/.aab), so it works regardless of which framework or language you used to build your app.
How long does a scan take?
Most scans complete in under 30 seconds. Larger binaries may take slightly longer.
What if my app fails some checks?
Each failed check includes a detailed explanation and a specific recommendation for how to fix it. Our blog also has in-depth guides for the most common rejection scenarios.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes. You can cancel your subscription at any time. It will remain active until the end of the current billing period. Contact support@releasemyapp.com if you need help.
